As Certified Hand Therapists (CHT) we have a minimum of three years of clinical experience, including 4,000 hours or more in direct hand therapy practice. In addition, we have successfully passed a comprehensive test of advanced clinical skills and theory in upper quarter rehabilitation and are recertified every five years. The CHT credential recognizes expertise and awareness of up-to-date, evidence-based practice. We possess a unique, holistic perspective of the profound impact that hand/upper extremity problems have on an individual and their ability to perform valued life roles.
ANN LANG, MA OTR CHT: PRACTICE DIRECTOR
Ann is an Occupational Therapist with over 30 years of experience, specializing in hand rehabilitation. In 1991 she became one of the first Certified Hand Therapists (CHT) in the country and has continued to specialize in hand rehabilitation since then. Ann is a charter active member of the American Society of Hand Therapists as well as a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the New York State Occupational Therapy Association. Ann has presented original research and poster presentations at national hand therapy conferences. She supervises Level 1 clinical fieldwork Occupational Therapy Masters students. Ann has been practicing privately on the Upper West Side of Manhattan for over 30 years.

ASHLEY SATENSTEIN, MS OTR CHT
Ashley is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist. She has experience in both outpatient and inpatient orthopedic settings. Ashley is skilled in treating neurological and orthopedic injuries of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand, and takes a client-centered approach while working with a variety of diagnoses. She is highly proficient in custom splint fabrication and employs evidence-based rationale for the treatment she provides. Ashley is passionate about helping her patients attain the best possible outcomes, both orthopedic and functional. Ashley is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and is a clinical supervisor for Occupational Therapy Masters students completing level I fieldworks.
